Privacy Policy

This policy explains how QuantKick handles personal data in the native iOS app and on our website. Contact support@quantkick.ai about privacy or your data.

iOS accounts

When you create or sign in to an account, we process your email address, optional name, username, QuantKick account ID, and authentication details. Sign in with Apple supplies an app-specific account identifier and may supply your name and email on first authorization. Email-account passwords are stored as hashes, not plain text. We use these data for authentication, account access, security, and support.

Subscriptions and purchases

iOS subscriptions use Apple In-App Purchase. We receive signed transaction information, product and transaction identifiers, and subscription or entitlement status to verify purchases, restore access, and prevent fraud. These records are linked to your QuantKick account. Apple handles payment-card and bank details; the iOS app does not send those details to QuantKick.

Notifications and device identifiers

If you enable notifications, the app sends its Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token and delivery settings, including app version, language, and timezone, to our server. A token may initially be registered without an account and may later be linked to your signed-in account. We use it to deliver app notifications, not for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can turn off notifications in the app settings or in iOS Settings. A disabled delivery permission does not by itself delete your account.

Local data and data we do not collect

The current iOS app keeps Journal entries, amounts, and notes in local device storage; it does not upload those entries to QuantKick. Display preferences and cached match data are also stored locally. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by your operating-system settings.

The current iOS app does not request your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or health data, and does not include third-party advertising, product-analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. It does not request the advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not sell app personal data or combine it with other companies' data for targeted advertising.

Website and service operation

The website uses browser storage or essential cookies for account sessions and display preferences where applicable. Infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request metadata, and operational logs to deliver the website and API, maintain security, and prevent abuse. This is separate from an in-app advertising or behavioral-analytics SDK. Information you choose to send to support is used to answer your request. Legacy website account or payment records may include Google authentication identifiers or Stripe subscription records; the native iOS app uses Apple or email sign-in and Apple In-App Purchase instead.

Providers and international processing

We use Vercel for hosting and API infrastructure and Supabase for the server database. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase, and APNs delivery. Only the information needed for the relevant service is sent to these providers. Data may be processed outside your country; applicable data-protection requirements govern those transfers.

Retention and security

We retain account and notification records while needed to provide the service, and retain transaction, security, or support records as needed for legal obligations, dispute handling, and fraud prevention. Account deletion removes or replaces identifying account fields and removes account-linked push registrations; retained purchase records have their QuantKick account association removed. Limited records and backups may remain for those purposes. We use access controls, encrypted transport, and password hashing, but no online system is risk-free.

Your choices and account deletion

You can delete your account from the Me tab in the iOS app, with an option to erase the local Journal as well. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription: manage or cancel it separately in your Apple account subscription settings. You can also delete individual local Journal entries in the app.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact support@quantkick.ai; we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

QuantKick is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures when the app's data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
